North West’s first headline tour has been called off just days before the first show.
The 13-year-old rapper, who is the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, had been scheduled to head on the 14-date Kimokawaii Tour to promote her debut EP N0rth4evr.
She was planned to appear alongside singer-songwriter Molly Santana, who skyrocketed to fame with her feature on Drake’s song “Ran to Atlanta”, from the album Iceman.
Confirming the cancellation in a statement on Friday, West wrote: “I was really excited to go on tour (with) Molly Santana, sadly it isn’t happening anymore, but I have something special for you guys, see you soon.”
The North American tour was due to kick off on 5 August in Dallas, Texas, and end in Los Angeles on 27 August.
Before West’s message, the Dallas date, along with one in Toronto on 17 August, were displayed as "cancelled" on Ticketmaster.
The tour’s official website has also been taken down.
West’s EP, containing six tracks with a running time of 11 minutes and 23 seconds, was released on 1 May.
The record explores the teenager’s perspective on growing up as a celebrity child.
Rolling Stone gave the album four out of five stars, saying that West “turns rage rap, emo, and hyperpop into a surprisingly assured statement of self”.
Dazed and Confused said that the EP “isn’t flawless”, but is “far more experimental than cynics might have expected”.
To promote the album, West gave her debut solo performance at Chicago’s Summer Smash Festival in June.
A number of Kardashian-Jenner family members, including her aunt Khloe Kardashian, uncle Rob Kardashian and grandmother Kris Jenner, all shared social media photos showing them listening to her music.
West was born in June 2013 while her parents were dating. They got engaged in October of that year and married in May 2014, going on to have three more children – Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven – before their divorce in 2022.
Kardashian is currently in a relationship with Formula One driver Sir Lewis Hamilton, while Kanye West married model Bianca Censori in a private ceremony in 2022.
