Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper rued their defender for Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Wolves.
Ruben Neves converted a penalty for Wolves, Brennan Johnson had his saved by Jose Sa for Forest.
Cooper said, "Obviously I am disappointed with the result. I liked us without the ball in the first half but not without it.
"We had our moments in the first half and the message at half-time was to keep going in terms of the stuff without the ball as I couldn't see us conceding.
"Unfortunately, it took us going behind to get going with the ball.
"We got the penalty, but that has not gone our way.
"In the end need, though, we need to do better with the ball.
"With the way we train and play, we always have a good idea what we want to do with the ball, but for large parts of the game, especially in the first half, we just didn't do that.
"That's disappointing. We know we have to be a better defending unit, but when we do get the ball, you have to do better at this level."
