SHAH ALAM - Nu Ideaktiv Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Astro and Kumpulan Media Karangkraf adopts a new identity, seeNI, as part of efforts to expand business growth opportunities through content, creative talent and commercial partnerships.

The transition brings the company's media brands under a single identity, making it easier for advertisers and agencies to access its various platforms, communities and creative expertise.

Nu Ideaktiv Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Syamil Fahim Mohamed Fahim said the change was more than just a rebranding exercise, reflecting the company's ambition to develop a more integrated media ecosystem.

"The transition from Nu Ideaktiv to seeNI is not merely a change in brand identity, but reflects our ambition to bring together media brands, talent and communities within a more integrated ecosystem, creating greater value for consumers and commercial partners.

"Through community, content and commerce, we want to move beyond standalone advertising placements by offering brands more comprehensive opportunities to connect with audiences through relevant content, talent and meaningful engagement," he said in a statement on Thursday.

Media brands under the seeNI portfolio include Media Hiburan, Borak seeNI, Nona, Remaja, Roda Panas, Rasa, Mingguan Wanita, Keluarga and Pa&Ma, as well as seeNI Creator Academy.

The new direction was unveiled at The New World of seeNI event at D’Theatre Malaysia, Hextar World at Empire City. The event also showcased next year's content lineup, talent and collaboration opportunities for advertisers, brand leaders and industry players.

Guided by the slogan 'More Begins Here', seeNI aims to become an integrated platform that allows clients to explore a wider range of content options and unlock business growth opportunities through cross-platform collaborations.

Elaborating on the initiative, Syamil said the company's priorities in this new phase were to strengthen partnerships, create new revenue opportunities and build a more sustainable business.

He added that through seeNI Collective, the company had also partnered with TVS and Novel Karangkraf on content production and adaptation.

Meanwhile, its collaboration with Komet Productions focuses on developing new talent in the creative industry through seeNI Story Lab, while partnerships with Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) and Fashionably Modest Asia (FMA) cover the fashion and lifestyle sectors.

Syamil said seeNI had also introduced seeNI Talent to match suitable talent with the needs of content production, brand campaigns, events and commercial opportunities, based on their track records, audience suitability and availability for engagement.
