The victim, identified as Nurfisya Zulkifly, 19, was discovered dead on Friday in Kampung Simah, Ketereh, after sustaining 61 stab wounds and being abandoned by the roadside.

According to Mohd Yusoff, preliminary forensic findings showed the injuries extended from the face down to the legs, with most of the wounds concentrated on the right side of the victim’s body.

Following the discovery, four individuals were initially remanded to assist investigations, including an elderly couple.

Magistrate Amirul Asyraf Abdul Rasid had earlier granted a seven-day remand order for the two 19-year-old male suspects, running from Saturday until this Friday.
