Fede Valverde was delighted to score in Real Madrid's rout of Eibar.

Valverde said, I can honestly say today is one of the happiest days of my life. It was the goal I've been looking for in recent games because I wanted it to be a bit special. Modric laid on a wonderful assist for me, but the important thing is the win to head off on the international break happy.
