Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde says he's determined not to get carried with his superb season so far.
The Uruguayan midfielder has risen to prominence with Los Blancos of late, but he's a quiet personality off the pitch.
"I'm shy, I always try to respect people's space, but I try to enjoy myself to the full on the pitch," Valverde told Real Madrid TV.
"I think that [nerves] always have to be there. You have to go out with everything. Before the derby with Atletico, I knew I was starting and I was very nervous.
"Casemiro came and asked, 'are you nervous?' and I said, 'no, let's go', but he saw my hand and it was shaking."
Out of all his teammates at Real Madrid, Valverde revealed the special role Casemiro has played in his development.
"I learn from everyone, everyone has a story behind them," Valverde said.
"The midfielders especially come up to you and give you advice and listen to you when something happens.
"With Casemiro, who is South American [like me], he's at my side, he gives me loads of advice and he helps me a lot. I'm always going to be grateful."
