Brighton striker Neal Maupay insists he had no idea Hugo Lloris was injured when scoring against Tottenham.
Maupay struck in the 3-0 win as Lloris suffered a horror elbow injury.
"I scored my goal and I'm going to celebrate. I turn around and see that Hugo is still on the ground. I did not understand since there was no contact. Then in the stadium, the cheers are gone.
"Unfortunately, I saw the picture. These are images that we do not like to see.
"I hope that it will not be too serious and that he will be able to recover quickly," Maupay told RMC Sport.
