Everton striker Fraser Hornby is happy with the progress of his loan at KV Kortrijk.
Hornby has made three appearances since joining in the summer and opened his account in a cup tie against RFC Seraing last month.
Asked about the training sessions in Belgium, Hornby told the Liverpool Echo: "They've been good, hard, intense. It's good to train like that. If you train like that during the week it helps on a matchday.
"The manager is very hands-on and knows what he wants and how he wants the team to play. Everybody seems to be working the same.
"Everybody speaks very good English so it's been good for me. All of the staff, everybody around the place, has welcomed me very well."
He added: "Kortrijk is a very nice, very beautiful city, very different from Liverpool.
"It's very quiet but it's something that I like.
"Coming from a small village in Northampton it reminds me a bit of home."
