The Giants started the week with changes on offence and a notable name from last season moving on.
Russell Wilson, who spent 2025 with New York, is now joining CBS Sports’ broadcast team.
Wilson’s brief stint included three starts before he slid down the depth chart. His move away from the playing field shows how much the Giants have shifted at quarterback.
But it is another familiar face, this time at wide receiver, that has stirred far more emotion around the franchise.
Odell Beckham Jr. returns to New York Giants

It is official: Odell Beckham Jr. is rejoining the Giants, the team that drafted him in 2014 and where he last played in 2018.
According to NBC Sports, he took part in a second workout with the team on Monday before the signing was confirmed. Beckham also reconnects with head coach John Harbaugh, who coached him in Baltimore in 2023.
His first Giants spell still defines his career. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year after catching 91 passes, then added 197 catches across the next two seasons.
His one-handed catch against Dallas became a viral sensation and one of the sport’s defining modern highlights. Beckham also made three Pro Bowls during that early stretch.
Injuries changed the trajectory. The 33-year-old fractured his ankle in 2017, signed a major extension in 2018 and was traded to Cleveland the following year.
He later won a Super Bowl with the Rams, played for the Ravens and Dolphins, then sat out last season.
Beckham brings experience, personality and a familiar spark to New York’s offence. Whether he can still change games is the question that makes the reunion compelling.
