SHAH ALAM - Caretaker Selangor Menteri Besar has officially retained the Sungai Tua state seat with a majority of 5,185 votes.
Amirudin Shari of Pakatan Harapan received a total of 19,678 votes in today’s polls.
His opponent Perikatan Nasional Hanif Jamaluddin received 14,493 votes while independent candidate Suman Gopal received 430 votes.
Earlier, Amirudin was confident that he would retain the seat and vowed that he would give the people his best.
