Oil firms to implement big-time price rollback on Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines — A substantial fuel price rollback is expected on Tuesday, June 23, after the global market reacted to Iran and US signing an interim peace deal.

On Monday, Shell said that diesel prices will drop by P9.04 per liter, gasoline by P3.90 per liter, and kerosene by P11.00 per liter.

Other oil companies are expected to announce a similar price rollback.

The Department of Energy said that for this week, diesel prices will go down by P9.04 to P11.04 per liter, gasoline by P3.90 to P5.90 per liter, and kerosene by P9.82 to P11.82 per liter.

Last week, diesel prices decreased by P3.71 to P5.71 per liter, gasoline by up to P1.68 per liter, and kerosene by around P0.50 to P3.50 per liter.
