Ojaswini Saraswat, a trainee of the Chandigarh Golf Club, won the second position in the ‘best promising player category’ at the Ciputra Junior World Championship in Indonesia.

The 13-year-old golfer competed against some of the finest junior golfers from around the world and posted 2-underpar score to finish second.

Representing Rambagh Golf Club, Jaipur, Ojaswini had recently secured her 12th national title at the Indian Golf Union Pune Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship at Oxford Golf Resort, Pune. She carded rounds of 73, 74 and 69 to finish with a total score of 216. Her final day comeback helped her recover crucial strokes and force a playoff for the overall combined honours against Karnataka’s Priya Kumari, who also scored 216.
