Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury by split decision to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 24 years.

Usyk edged Fury on the cards after a thrilling fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,handing the Briton his first loss of his professional career.

The result at the Kingdom Arena kept Usyk unbeaten and saw the Ukrainian add the WBC belt to his WBA, WBO and IBF titles.

Fury and Usyk are contracted for a rematch, which is expected to take place in Riyadh later this year, with the Briton confirming he intends to exercise the rematch clause for October.
