PAPAR: One man was killed and two others injured in an early morning crash involving a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and a lorry along KM16, Jalan Papar–Bongawan on Thursday.
District Police Chief Supt Kamaruddin Ambo Sakka said the 4.48am incident occurred when the MPV, driven by a 35-year-old man, lost control and veered into the opposite lane.
The vehicle, which was heading towards Membakut from Papar with two passengers onboard, collided with the front right side of an oncoming lorry.
