With temperatures set to fall across the UK, many people will be considering switching on their heating this month.
Before you do this, an expert has advised people to do one thing.
Grace Forell has shared her top tips to keep your home warm this winter, including making sure you get your boiler checked now, to avoid hefty costs.
Appearing on This Morning on Tuesday (13 October), she advised: “Now is a really good time of year to check out your boiler, gas boilers should be serviced annually, but now is the time to do it. If you wait until winter and it packs in, you will probably have to pay a higher call out fee.”
She also explained how if you are renting a property, your landlord is responsible for making sure your boiler is serviced.
