PENAMPANG: United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (Upko) is in a better position to bring prosperity, well-being and development to Sabah and the people, according to outgoing party president Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau.

Upko is a Pakatan Harapan component party.

“Since Sabah is once again a “Wilayah”, funds and responsibilities also need to be balanced. One-third of the National Five-Year Development Plan funds and the annual budget should go to Sabah and Sarawak,” he said in his speech at the party’s Triennial General Assembly, Sunday.
