Designed by Milan-based Studio Dini Cataldi, the store’s interiors are a masterclass in minimalist luxury. Raw concrete walls meet vibrant yellow glass accents, softened by diffused lighting that casts a warm glow over every corner. It’s a space that invites you to slow down and take it all in, a sanctuary in the heart of one of the world’s busiest shopping streets.

But this isn’t just about aesthetics. The flagship marks a bold evolution for Onitsuka Tiger as it cements itself as a lifestyle brand. Alongside its signature footwear and accessories, the store offers runway collections and Japan-made DENIVITA™ denimwear. There’s even Café Onitsuka Tiger on the ground floor, serving artisanal drinks and snacks with a Japanese-meets-Parisian twist. It’s a seamless integration of fashion, design, and culture – a space where you’re as likely to pause for a matcha latte as you are to browse the latest collections.

Fragrance enters the fold

To celebrate this milestone, Onitsuka Tiger is also stepping into an entirely new world: fine fragrance. The brand’s first-ever eau de parfum collection is a debut that feels as thoughtful and meticulously crafted as its fashion. Created by renowned perfumer Mark Buxton in Grasse, France, the four unisex scents are designed to reflect “quiet radiance” and the brand’s minimalist yet multi-layered identity.

Each scent is housed in a sleek yellow bottle – a nod to Onitsuka Tiger’s bold aesthetic – and offers a distinct olfactory experience:

  • One: Crisp greens, mint and citrus give way to delicate white florals and a warm leather-wood base. Fresh yet grounding, it’s a scent for new beginnings.
  • Two: Bergamot and incense rise softly before settling into powdery musk and sandalwood. Subtle and intimate, it’s the fragrance equivalent of a whispered secret.
  • Three: Spicy orange and violet notes unfold over smoky woods and earthy patchouli. A textured, warm blend that feels like sunset in a bottle.
  • Four: Peppermint and bergamot collide with absinthe and nutmeg, finishing on creamy vetiver and vanilla for a crisp, addictive edge.

Each fragrance is designed to be genderless and versatile, making them perfect for layering or wearing solo.

An evolution of style

The Paris flagship feels like the culmination of Onitsuka Tiger’s journey from a heritage sportswear label to a global fashion force. While the brand remains rooted in its history of Japanese craftsmanship and innovation, it’s also embracing new ways to express its ethos.

“The store was designed to embody quiet strength and elegance,” says Andrea Pompilio, Onitsuka Tiger’s Creative Director. “We wanted to create a space that inspires people not only through fashion but through every element – design, fragrance, even the café.”

The boutique also highlights the brand’s focus on exclusivity and craftsmanship. Among the must-sees are the limited-edition Mexico 66™ NM sneakers, boutique-only fragrances, and collectible pieces that feel as considered as the architecture itself.
