Former Kota Marudu MP and Banggi assemblyman Datuk Datu Amir Kahar Tun Datu Hj Mustapha clarified that a recent eviction notice in Kampung Landong Ayang involves only two homes, not the entire village as claimed on social media.
“The notice only applies to two houses located entirely within a gazetted area.
"The process was conducted transparently and with prior notice. There was no element of force or surprise. Residents were informed multiple times over the past 20 years," he said.
