Yes. Network School in Forest City, Johor, is currently at the center of a massive national sovereignty, legal, and geopolitical controversy in Malaysia.
Yes, the founder of Network Schools claimed that the controversy surrounding his Network School, Malaysia, was triggered entirely to an Instagram post published on 10 July 2026, one day before the Johor elections on 11 July 2026 by an activist group called "Malaysian Protest 4 Palestine" (MP4P).
The post accused the Network School of becoming a "gathering place for Israeli entrepreneurs" and harboring individuals who allegedly entered Malaysia illegally using secondary passports.
Because Malaysia does not have diplomatic ties with Israel and bans Israeli passport holders from entry, the post quickly sparked a domestic political and national security controversy.
Following the viral post, Immigration authorities and the Ministry of Home Affairs conducted a joint raid and inspected the campus on 14 July 2026.
They checked 266 foreign nationals from 40 countries and confirmed that all of them possessed entirely valid travel and immigration documents, disproving the illegal alien claims

He was granted a tourist visa upon arrival after presenting a valid French passport.
He used his French passport to clear immigration and check into various hotels in Kuala Lumpur.
It was only after his arrest that he produced an Israeli passport when questioned by Malaysian police.
He was detained on March 27, 2024, at an upscale hotel in Kuala Lumpur, where authorities found a bag containing six handguns and 200 rounds of ammunition.
In the same year, 2024, he was sentenced to seven years in prison by a Malaysian court after pleading guilty to firearms and ammunition offenses.
