Protecting the ballot is hollow if the same politicians that you have continuously voted in at every general elections ignore your bank accounts, the people who cast and vote for them.

Simply put, the voters have been and continue to be cheated left, right and centre by every of the political parties out there at present.

And this is not a recent phenomenon or events.

It has been going on for years.

Possibly one or 2 generations.

All of us were and still are being made use of by the people in whom we had placed our trust and hopes.

Some of you, the voters were known to walk for miles on end and wait in line under the hot sun to exercise your democratic right, or cross treacherous rivers for your voices to be heard. But everything fell on deaf ears.

To lump all politicians as fraud may be excessive but it is definitely somewhere near there.

Many of them do not deserve any respect.

Trustworthiness, honour and integrity are not in the vocabulary of any of the politicians.

If they do have it, they would not be a politician.

Lying and making empty promises are 2nd nature to many of them, it is like a 2nd skin.

For the last 30 years, Malaysians want to change but there were no serious alternatives available because the same chameleon politicians, who think only about themselves dominate the political landscape.

Strip away the logos and personalities, there is not much difference between all of them.

Wake up my fellow Malaysians.

Majority of the politicians, be it whoever and whichever political parties or political coalition, are all pirates.

Majority of them have no shame at all, continuously `robbing’ ordinary Malaysians very which and whatever way they can come up with.

A corrupt government breeds corrupt officials.

Like the adage, monkey see monkey do.

When the politicians steal, the downline will follow suit because they know that the politicians at the top are too busy with their stealing that they would not be bother with what and how the downline are stealing.

Corrupt leaders often ignore bad behavior in their team.

They do this because they want to hide their own crimes.

This is a common issue called "tone at the top."

When leaders act without ethics, they set a bad rule for the whole group.

This creates a toxic chain of command.

Every level of the group copies the level above them.

Would things change by voting for Bersama instead of those traditional political parties?

A big NO.

Things will possibly improve but definitely would not change.

Politicians may think they are clever but we, the rakyat, have an opportunity now to show who are the smarter ones.

We, the ordinary and voting rakyat respond to them by `firing’ / terminating their employment as elected representatives every 5 years.

Don’t believe and buy in to their claims that 5 years is too short a time for them to do anything.

If it takes 9 months to build a basic human, why can’t they do and achieve anything within 5 years?

If they can’t, they shouldn’t promise something they can’t keep.

Let’s not be naïve.

Politicians are temporary but civil servants are permanent and the bureaucracy acts as the institutional memory and "engine" of government.

Bureaucracies are rule-driven.

If a politician gives vague orders, the civil service will implement them in the slowest, most familiar way.

Without their active buy-in, even the best political promises often fail.

Real reform must outlast election cycles and be driven by leaders who are willing to face short-term pushback for long-term efficiency.

So let us vote and usher in Bersama.

By voting in Bersama, we, the ordinary and voting rakyat are sneding a clear and unmistakable message to every of the politician in this country that they are answerable to the rakyat in their actions and not their verbiage.

If they failed to perform, vote them out in the 17th GE.

Including politicians from other political parties voted in the 16th GE.

Every one of them have to justify to the ordinary and voting rakyat i.e their sole `employer’ why they deserve to be reappointed again every 5 years.
