At the same time, ramai pulak cakap banyak cabang PKR makin slow, ada yang practically tutup kedai. Tapi Fahmi announce ahli PKR bertambah 5,000 orang.
So which one is it sebenarnya?
Parti makin kuat?
Or people already jumping ship quietly?
Sekarang ni politik Malaysia dah jadi macam musim hujan, penuh katak melompat sana sini. Some jump for survival. Some jump for position. Some just jump sebab tengok rumput sebelah nampak lebih hijau.
Masalahnya sekarang terlalu banyak frogs jumping around sampai susah nak tangkap mana satu loyal, mana satu opportunist.
Hari ni pakai baju biru.
Esok pakai merah.
Lusa keluar podcast cakap pasal prinsip.
Meanwhile rakyat tengok je sambil geleng kepala.
PKR keeps pushing the narrative that the party is growing stronger. Numbers naik. Membership naik. Support supposedly naik. But on the ground, ramai grassroots already tired. Cabang senyap. Orang lama disappear. Semangat reformasi yang dulu loud sekarang macam tinggal hashtag.
Tambah ahli atas kertas tak semestinya tambah strength.
Kadang - kadang orang join sebab peluang.
Kadang - kadang sebab project.
Kadang - kadang sebab tengah tunggu timing sesuai untuk lompat lagi sekali.
That’s why Malaysian politics today no longer feels like perjuangan. It feels like a transfer market.
Everyone negotiating.
Everyone positioning.
Everyone keeping options open.
Dan bila terlalu ramai frogs melompat serentak, akhirnya semua jatuh dalam lumpur yang sama.
The real question sekarang bukan siapa nak lompat next.
The real question is
siapa actually masih ada prinsip. And who is talking the truth?
