Aryna Sabalenka faces Naomi Osaka in a battle of current and former world No 1s with Wimbledon staging a fourth-round blockbuster between four-time grand slam champions.
Osaka, 28, is through to the fourth round of Wimbledon for the first time and while her fashion walk-outs have attracted considerable attention, the Japanese star has found serious form on the grass after struggling on the surface earlier in her career.
Osaka now plays top seed Sabalenka for the fourth time this season. Before this year, Osaka and Sabalenka had not played since the 2018 US Open but Sabalenka has won all three of this season’s meetings - including in the last-16 of last month’s French Open.
Neither Osaka or Sabalenka have won a grass-court before, but the Wimbledon draw is opening up after defeats for Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina and Amanda Anisimova on the other side of the bracket on Saturday.

He holds, and can see the finish line.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 3-6 3-1 Roman Safiullin
16:47 , Flo CliffordSafiullin draws Djokovic to the net but is powerless to stop a lovely passing shot landing square in the far corner.
The qualifier is beginning to look a little bit leggy, unsurprisingly given the five-setters in the legs and the medical timeout, although he pepped up after that.
He holds with a booming cross-court forehand and is on the board in this set.
Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 3-6 3-0 Roman Safiullin*
16:42 , Flo CliffordDjokovic and Safiullin play a bit of ping-pong, knocking the ball back and forth at the net, before the seventh seed sends Safiullin pinwheeling back to the baseline with a lob... which he fires long, but it looks like the sunshine is bothering Djokovic again as he stands with his racquet outstretched overhead, waiting for the ball to drop.
He laughs to himself in frustration as he drops the next two points and what had looked like a routine service game gets a bit more complicated.
But Safiullin fires long, and that’s Djokovic in control of this set.
BREAK! *Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 3-6 2-0 Roman Safiullin
16:38 , Flo CliffordA dire service game for the Russian! He drops his serve to love as Djokovic plants a forehand into the open court. Advantage Serbia.

16:26 , Flo CliffordDjokovic wins the first point on Safiullin’s serve but then fires long, his 10th unforced error of the set.
The qualifier gets lucky as the ball just about dribbles over the net as he moves up the court.
Djokovic can’t keep a big serve in the court, and the Russian has two set points.... he only needs one, as Djokovic goes long!
Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 3-5 Roman Safiullin*
16:23 , Flo CliffordDjokovic serves to stay in this third set.
Safiullin can only thump a serve into the net, before Djokovic fires down his ninth ace of the match.
But he double faults for 40-30... No matter, another big serve seals the hold. Safiullin must serve this one out.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 2-5 Roman Safiullin
16:18 , Flo CliffordSafiullin whips in a forehand to complete a speedy hold to love. He went 5-2 up in the first set and ended up losing it; will he be able to hold his nerve this time?
BREAK! Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 2-4 Roman Safiullin*
16:16 , Flo CliffordSafiullin gets the break! The Russian lashes a return almost at Djokovic’s body and that clinches it at the seventh time of asking.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 2-3 Roman Safiullin
16:14 , Flo CliffordThe errors keep coming from Djokovic and Safiullin will have another crack at this...
The Serb goes for the serve-and-volley and Safiullin reads it, but is pinned to one side of the court and Djokovic palms away the volley.
Another chance for Safiullin after a great forehand down the line!
What a wasted chance though! Djokovic draws him in with a drop shot, Safiullin scoops the ball back over in reply, then has the court at his mercy for an overhead smash... but goes wide!
Deuce again.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 2-3 Roman Safiullin
16:11 , Flo CliffordDjokovic doesn’t look happy about something, and a poor forehand well wide isn’t going to improve matters. Three break points Safiullin...
Safiullin tries to drop shot the Serb, but Djokovic saves break point with a lovely passing shot!

*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 2-3 Roman Safiullin
16:08 , Flo CliffordSafiullin has received some treatment and is fit to continue with this third set.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 2-3 Roman Safiullin
16:03 , Jamie BraidwoodOh this is tough to see. Roman Safiullin, who come into Wimbledon as a qualifer after missing the end of last season due to injury, is receiving a medical timeout for an upper leg injury.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 2-3 Roman Safiullin
16:02 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic masterfully anicipates the direction of the Safiullin drive volley, redirecting the pace down the line, then puts on additional pressure on the return to scrap his way to deuce.
Safiullin fires an ace out wide, then catches two baselines in a row - Djokovic drops his racket and rants to his box. He is not in a good mood today.
BREAK! *Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 1-2 Roman Safiullin
15:53 , Jamie BraidwoodWell, that’ll pick up Djokovic’s mood again. A lapse from Safiulin is pounced upon by Djokovic, who takes the break by landing a lovely lob over Safiulin’s head after he had advanced to the net.
BREAK! Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 0-2 Roman Safiullin*
15:50 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin unleashes a rocket of a forehand and Djokovic raises his arms to the sky as he goes long.
It brings up break point, and Djokovic is caught by the depth of the Safiullin ball! Off balance, he nets!
Djokovic is furious. He looks as if he’s going to smash a ball against the back of the court.
He is giving a warning by the umpire, too!
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 0-1 Roman Safiullin
15:44 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic raises a thumb as Safiullin pulls out a lovely lob to take the opening game of the third.
In the previous round, Djokovic had been two sets up against Arthur Rinderknech but lost the third set 6-1!
He’ll be looking to close this out as soon as possible now.
SECOND SET! Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-3 Roman Safiullin
15:32 , Jamie BraidwoodNovak Djokovic moves a set away from a ninth consecutive Wimbledon quarter-final! He brings out the serve and volley to bring up set point, where he deploys the same trick. The wide serve is followed by the volley, dispatched calmly to move two sets up against qualifier Roman Safiullin.
Fro Djokovic, that wasn’t as stressful a set as the first. He was able to convert the only break, but the qualifier’s level dipped quite a bit following his hot start.
Jessica Pegula beats Iva Jovic
15:24 , Flo CliffordOver on No 1 Court Jessica Pegula has broken the resistance of teenager Iva Jovic, recovering from dropping a set for the first time in this Championships to win 4-6 6-3 6-1.
She says: “That was really tough, Iva’s a great player, has a lot of energy, very intense from the start. I just couldn’t find my serve in the first set but I wasn’t playing that bad, I just had to find my serve. I just had to trust that, started to serve better, my intensity picked up. There were a lot of close games, I felt honestly it could have gone either way but I just kept the intensity every single point.”
BREAK! *Novak Djokovic 7-6 4-2 Roman Safiullin
15:21 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin saves a third break point as Djokovic slumps a forehand into the net, but he snaps a second serve return crosscourt to bring up the fourth of this game.
Djokovic keeps getting looks at second serves, and the pressure pays off as Safiullin nets on the backhand. A crucial break for Djokovic.
Novak Djokovic 7-6 3-2 Roman Safiullin*
15:15 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin looks frustrated as he skelps a forehand long, then he finds himself in a spot of bother as Djokovic’s return creeps over the net and he misses the short volley.
Djokovic snaps into lockdown mode and although Safiullin finds his way past at the net, on 15-30 the Russian checks out of the rally and puts the ball long.
Two break points for an invaluable advantage, but Djokovic puts the return into the net then slips on the second break point as Safiullin pulled out the drop shot.
Novak Djokovic 7-6 3-2 Roman Safiullin*
15:10 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic’s irritation continues as he finds himself off balance returning a backhand behind the baseline, but he draws the error from Safiullin on the long exchange. Safiullin then thunders the forehand long.
Novak Djokovic 7-6 2-1 Roman Safiullin*
15:02 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic is starting to pick up some more free points behind serve. It’s looking much better at the start of the second set already.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 1-1 Roman Safiullin
14:59 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic is today bidding for his 106th win at Wimbledon in the men’s singles, which would move him of Roger Federer. Martina Navratilova remains ahead, however, on 120.
*Novak Djokovic 7-6 0-0 Roman Safiullin
14:54 , Jamie BraidwoodNovak Djokovic said after his round-three win over Arthur Rinderknech that “at this age and stage in my career, every day brings something new and unpredictable for me”.
I think he would have been pretty downbeat at his level in that opening set against Roman Safiullin, and the 39-year-old went off court for a five-minute break at the end of the set.
He will want improvements. But he leads.
FIRST SET! Novak Djokovic 7-6 (8-6) Roman Safiullin
14:46 , Jamie BraidwoodAn 81 mph second serve from Safiullin allows Djokovic to open up the angles on the rally and the Russian spins a drop shot wide.
Another set point opportunity for Djokovic, and he takes it as Safiullin shoots out on the forehand return.
That wasn’t “flawless” from the seven-time champion, but he just about enough to scrape through!
A big opportunity missed from the qualifier, who led by a break and has the chance to serve for the set.
Pegula takes Jovic to third set
14:45 , Flo CliffordOver on No 1 Court, fourth seed Jessica Pegula has taken 18-year-old and 16th seed Iva Jovic to a deciding set, winning the second of an entertaining tussle 6-3 after the teenager took the opener 6-4.
There have been plenty of breaks of serve with neither player really able to establish real momentum. Pegula will serve to start this decider.
TIEBREAK! Novak Djokovic 6-6 (6-6) Roman Safiullin
14:42 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic roars as he edges ahead 4-3 and it forces a crack in the Safiullin game as he goes wide on the forehand. Djokovic then goes long on the backhand after a long baseline point, but he leads 5-4 with two serves to come.
Djokovic once again goes for the serve and volley and Safiullin pushes the backhand long with Djokovic closing in on the net. Set point. Djokovic goes serve and volley again but Safiullin hangs on! Djokovic goes long on the backhand and we continue!
TIEBREAK! Novak Djokovic 6-6 (3-3) Roman Safiullin
14:38 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin goes back to what he was doing at the start of the match, launching into attacks on the returns and being aggressive behind his forehand. With back-to-back winners, he jumps into a 3-1 lead. Djokovic blocked the return into mid-court, though.
Safiullin then pushes wide on the forehand, as Djokovic serves and volleys his way to 3-3.
TIEBREAK! Novak Djokovic 6-6 Roman Safiullin
14:34 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic also raises his level to get through to the tiebreak. Can he produce another “flawless” decider like he did against Arthur Rinderknech on Friday?
*Novak Djokovic 5-6 Roman Safiullin
14:31 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin shakes off whatever little wobble he had in the previous game and holds to love with a big forehand and ace.
Novak Djokovic 5-5 Roman Safiullin*
14:28 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic jumps out to 40-0 as Safiullin struggles to get the returns in play, which for Djokovic is a big relief given how he started on serve. Djokovic fells a bit more locked in now. He holds and this is level at 5-5.
*Novak Djokovic 4-5 Roman Safiullin
14:23 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin shows some nerves! He flashes the forehand long when the court was gaping, then he skews a volley wide from in front of the net. A third consecutive error from Safiullin and Djokovic breaks back!
Relief for Djokovic, who had screamed in frustration after putting a backhand slice into the net on 0-15.
Novak Djokovic 3-5 Roman Safiullin*
14:19 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic gets through it but Safiullin will now serve for the set. So far, the qualifier has missed just three of his 21 serves.
*Novak Djokovic 2-5 Roman Safiullin
14:18 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin has an answer for everything Djokovic is throwing at him! Djokovic attempts the serve and volley but Safiullin powers the forehand low and Djokovic can’t produce the pick-up.
Djokovic saves set point with an ace out wide, but will have to fend off another one as a backhand floats long, tameley. Djokovic finds another wide serve, and desperately needs some more accurate serving to get out of this.
Maybe he will, but Safiullin extends the game by winning the game of cat and mouse, racing back to reach the lob and then finding the volley. Safiullin is playing wonderfully.
*Novak Djokovic 2-5 Roman Safiullin
14:10 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin’s level righ tnow is extremely high. He catches the outside of the line with an inspired volley, then flashes a backhand winner down the line.
Safiullin steadies from a double fault to thump a big first serve down the middle, then putting away the forehand winner. ACE from Safiullin down the middle.
Djokovic has never lost a match at a grand slam to a player ranked as low as the No 132 Safiullin, who missed the end of last season due to injury.
BREAK! Novak Djokovic 2-4 Roman Safiullin*
14:06 , Jamie BraidwoodWow, here comes Safiullin! The qualifier takes control of back-to-back points with big crosscourt forehands into the corners, getting to 0-30.
Djokovic cannot get a first set, and he double faults to bring 0-40! And that’s another magnificent point from Safiullin!
He drags Djokovic around the court, then Djokovic nets!
*Novak Djokovic 2-3 Roman Safiullin
14:02 , Jamie BraidwoodSafiullin, ranked No 132 in the world but a career-high of 36, is settling nicely. He holds to love.
Safiullin destroyed the very highly rated Joao Fonseca in the previous round, winning in straight sets.
Fonseca defeated Djokovic in five sets at last month’s French Open, so Safiullin is a dangerous opponent.
Novak Djokovic 2-2 Roman Safiullin*
13:59 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic has played 32 matches against qualifiers at grand slams before today.
He’s won all 32, including six at Wimbledon.
*Novak Djokovic 1-2 Roman Safiullin
13:57 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic hits the umpire’s chair with a return from Safiullin’s serve that had landed out and holds his racket up in apology. Safiullin, settling now after the early break, puts away a lovely angled volley at the net to draw applause from Djokovic.
BREAK! Novak Djokovic 1-1 Roman Safiullin*
13:53 , Jamie BraidwoodSuddenly Safiullin has the chance to hit straight back! A deep forehand from Safiullin brings the error, and is followed by a Djokovic double fault and forehand long. 15-40. Djokovic saves with the second-serve ace down the middle, then saves the second as Safiullin puts the return long.
But a Djokovic backhand error, off balance, brings a third break point and this time Djokovic can’t escape. His second serve is down at just 87mph, and he puts the backhand wide! Safiullin breaks back.
BREAK! *Novak Djokovic 1-0 Roman Safiullin
13:46 , Jamie BraidwoodDjokovic makes the perfect start! He is alert as he reaches a drop shot from Safiullin and returns it deft and at a sharp angle. A backhand error from the qualfiier brings up break point and Djokovic takes it as he pins Safiullin deep into his forehand corner and the Russian hits out.
Novak Djokovic 0-0 Roman Safiullin*
13:42 , Jamie BraidwoodCries of “Nole, Nole!” ring arouund Centre Court at the start of the warm-ups. The 39-year-old stands just four wins away from a record-breaking grand slam singles title. Roman Safiullin has won the toss, and elects the serve.
Roman Safiullin's emotional Wimbledon return after injury comeback
13:35 , Jamie BraidwoodRoman Safiullin, the former world No 36 and Wimbledon quarter-finalist in 2023, had to end his season early after the US Open last season due to injury. He dropped out of the world’s top 100, and needed to come through qualifying to return to the fourth round.
He fought back tears after beating Joao Fonseca in the third round as he spoke to the Court No 2 crowd. “After the US Open, I had to stop to treat my injury. That time was super tough. Even half a year ago, I didn’t know whether I would be able to [come] back,” Safiullin said. “I’m super happy to be back here.”
Djokovic has won all three matches he has played against Safiullin. Their last match was in Shanghai in 2024, with Djokovic winning 6-2 6-2.
Roman Safuillin's run to Wimbledon fourth round as a qualifier
13:25 , Jamie BraidwoodNovak Djokovic will not need to face Joao Fonseca if he reaches the fourth round of Wimbledon after the Brazilian teenager was knocked out by qualifier Roman Safiullin.
The 24th seed was stunned in straight sets by the Russian qualifier Safiullin, ranked 132nd in the world. Safiullin won 6-3 6-3 6-3 in just over two hours.
Safiullin, 28, had won in five sets in his first two rounds, beating 12th seed Andrey Rublev in the first round and then Botic van de Zandschulp in the second.
Both matches went to a deciding set tiebreak, with Safiullin becoming the first player to win multiple deciding set tiebreaks in the same year at Wimbledon.
Safiullin, a former quarter-finalist at Wimbledon, had previously won three matches in qualifying - including a five-set win over Jerome Kym in the final round.
Novak Djokovic feeling 'fresher' as he aims for record Wimbledon title
13:15 , Jamie BraidwoodNovak Djokovic said he needed his “wake my muscles” up during his third-round win over Arthur Rinderknech in the third round, but said he is feeling “better” and “fresher” at Wimbledon than when he was knocked out of the third round of Roaldn Garros.
“[I have] more energy now after three matches than I have had in Paris,” he said. “But it's also normal and logical to expect that, considering the difference in the surface and physicality of the points and the effort that has to go in every shot with spin and everything on clay, it's quite different here.
“It doesn't mean that I'm not spending any energy on the court. Of course, I am. And the deeper I go into the tournament, obviously the less fresh I will be physically, but I'm trying to maintain that to an optimal level. But as I said, no major issues. I'm feeling fine.”
Wimbledon runner-up Amanda Anisimova knocked out in third round
13:00 , Jamie BraidwoodThere will be no Wimbledon redemption for Amanda Anisimova, who opened up on a “really rough few months” following defeat to Madison Keys.
“Obviously struggling with my forehand a lot lately,” she said. “Just something that I'm still trying to figure out. Just not easy to go out there and my level being that low. A lot of things for me to figure out.
“Normally, I'd be motivated and would just look at it as another opportunity going forward. But after the last few months, it's really hard to see a silver lining, because it's been really, really tough.”
Former Australian Open champion Keys, meanwhile, said other players in the locker room were “shocked” to learn that she had yet to play on Centre Court. Keys settled pretty well as she knocked out last year’s runner-up Anisimova 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
“Being on Centre Court here was one big one. I'm glad that I finally got to check that off of the list,” she said.
Keys, who won at Eastbourne last week, now faces ninth seed Linda Noskova for a place in the quarter-finals.
Arthur Fery soaking in the biggest win of his career
12:45 , Jamie BraidwoodAfter beating Zizou Bergs in five sets, Arthur Fery will enter the world’s top 100 for the first time on Monday, earning him entry to the US Open main draw.
“It's a really special moment. I can't really fully process it yet. When I'm playing this well and having these kind of results, it was only a matter of time till I broke the top 100.
“It's still a significant milestone. Doing it here is incredibly special for me. It's my home tournament. It's where I grew up. It's very special.”
On how he will recover physically after playing the longest match of his career to reach the last-16, Fery said he was “buzzing” off adrenaline.
“First five-setter, longest match that I've ever played, first time breaking into the top 100, first second week in a slam, all at home, five minutes from where I grew up. It's a great story for me.”
Wimbledon 2026 men’s and women’s seeds list and tracker
12:30 , Jamie BraidwoodReigning champion Iga Swiatek and second seed Elena Rybakina were knocked out of Wimbledon as seeds continued to tumble from the draw before the start of the second week.
Swiatek, who thrashed Amanda Anisimova 6-0 6-0 in last year’s Wimbledon final to win her sixth grand slam title, fell to the 29th seed Alexandra Eala on Centre Court, with the 21-year-old making history for the Philippines by reaching the fourth round.
It came after former Wimbledon champion Rybakina was also knocked out, following a third-round defeat to Elise Mertens. Top seed Aryna Sabalenka now faces a blockbuster against Naomi Osaka after two of her biggest rivals exited the tournament.
Meanwhile, reigning men’s champion and top seed Jannik Sinner is gathering form after a slow start at the Championships, while seventh seed Novak Djokovic remains a possible semi-final opponent for the Italian as the 39-year-old bids to win a record-breaking 25th grand slam title
On the men’s side, two wildcards are through to the last-16 and will play each other on Monday for a place in the quarter-finals. Grigor Dimitrov, a year on from his painful retirement while leading eventual champion Sinner, will play Britain’s Arthur Fery for a place in the final eight.

Grigor Dimitrov rewrites Wimbledon story to set up wildcard clash with Arthur Fery
12:15 , Jamie BraidwoodGrigor Dimitrov made an emotional winning return to Centre Court as he defeated Matteo Berrettini in five sets to set up an all-wildcard clash with British Arthur Fery at Wimbledon.
Last year, Dimitrov’s Wimbledon campaign ended in a painful retirement as he led eventual champion Jannik Sinner by two sets in the last-16 on Centre Court. It was the fifth consecutive grand slam where the 35-year-old had retired from a grand slam due to injury, with the pectoral train forcing him to also miss the US Open, a withdrawal which ended a streak of 58 consecutive grand slam appearances.
Prior to Wimbledon, Dimitrov’s ranking plummeted to 146 in the world after winning just five matches this season, with the Bulgarian requiring a wildcard to enter the main draw at Wimbledon. But after making a winning return to the All England Club, the former world No 3 is now back in the fourth round after beating 15th seed Jakub Mensik and former finalist Matteo Berrettini in his last two matches.

Serena Williams forced to bring Wimbledon comeback to premature end: ‘I’m heartbroken’
12:00 , Jamie BraidwoodA “heartbroken” Serena Williams has been forced to bring her Wimbledon comeback to a premature end after the 44-year-old was forced to withdraw from her first-round doubles match with sister Venus Williams due to a knee injury.
The 23-time grand slam champion “tweaked” her right knee during her first singles match in four years on Tuesday night, putting her involvement in the doubles in major doubt after a thrilling three-set defeat to Maya Joint under the roof on Centre Court.
Williams posted a series of photos on Instagram showing her right leg wrapped in bandages and revealing the fluid that had to be drained from her knee following her first singles match since the 2022 US Open. Williams also appeared to be receiving treatment to her left leg in the photos she published.

Why Arthur Fery, the last Brit standing at Wimbledon, is ready for his moment
11:45 , Jamie BraidwoodServing to stay in the biggest match of his life, as the shadows began to lengthen across Wimbledon’s Court 18 and fans climbed onto fold-out seats on the balcony and clambered onto benches to look down below, Arthur Fery was suddenly ground to a halt. A third nosebleed of the match stopped Fery in the his tracks and forced him to think. He had been battling Belgium’s Zizou Bergs for over four hours for a place in the last-16, scrapping from the brink after being a double-break down in the fourth set and a single break down in the fifth. Fery trailed 4-1 in both sets, but the deeper a hole the British wildcard faced, the tougher he fought, and the higher he climbed.
Once again, Fery managed to block out the distractions, with his epic 2-6 7-5 2-6 7-6 (3) 7-6 (10/5) over Bergs ensuring there will be a British player in the fourth round of Wimbledon.

Alexandra Eala comes of age at Wimbledon and brings 112 million people with her
11:30 , Jamie BraidwoodOn the back of Alexandra Eala’s white visor at Wimbledon is a message, written in the language of her native Philippines. It reads, “Kapag lumago, hindi na hihinto”, which roughly translates to, “Once it grows, it cannot be stopped”.
On Saturday, Eala’s blossoming development took its biggest step yet, as the 21-year-old knocked out defending champion Iga Swiatek on Centre Court to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon. It took an epic effort from the 29th seed, first outlasting the erratic six-time grand slam champion in a titanic 85-minute first set, then as she battled her own nerves in closing out the win of her life, 7-6 (9) 6-2 in two hours and 14 minutes.

Naomi Osaka faces Aryna Sabalenka in Wimbledon fourth-round blockbuster
11:15 , Jamie BraidwoodAryna Sabalenka faces Naomi Osaka in a battle of current and former world No 1s with Wimbledon staging a fourth-round blockbuster between four-time grand slam champions.

Djokovic, Sinner, Osaka and Sabalenka headline Centre Court
10:55 , Jamie BraidwoodNovak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner remain on a collision course at Wimbledon while Naomi Osaka faces Aryna Sabalenka in a fourth-round blockbuster on day seven of the Championships.
Osaka is through to the last 16 of Wimbledon for the first time and battles current world No 1 Sabalenka in a meeting of four-time grand slam champions. Sabalenka has won all three matches they have played this season, including in the last 16 of last month’s French Open, but Osaka carries blistering form onto the grass.
Djokovic and Sinner, who could meet in the semi-finals, both play qualifiers on Saturday. Djokovic continues his bid for a record 25th grand slam title against Roman Safuillin, who knocked out Joao Fonseca, while Sinner meets Shintaro Mochizuki, a winner against Rafael Jodar.
Coco Gauff, meanwhile, faces a tough test against Belinda Bencic, and there is an all-Czech contest between former champion Barbora Krejcikova and 10th seed Karolina Muchova.

Novak Djokovic's daughter unimpressed by his dance moves
10:45 , Jamie Braidwood"More than tennis, I hope that my dance moves will improve because my daughter has been teaching me but I'm pretty poor. She didn't give me a smile in the end, she was more like: 'Yeah, we have to practice!' But hopefully I can have many more dances throughout the rest of this tournament. We will see."
Djokovic’s moves on match point against Arthur Rinderknech were much smoother, as the 39-year-old dived to make a volley and lob his opponent, leaving both flat on the grass.

Novak Djokovic 'relieved' to get through tough Arthur Rinderknech test
10:35 , Jamie Braidwood“He has that variety because he has a big powerful game. He was also changing the pace and putting a lot of variety in the game, so he took me out of my comfort zone. I'm just really relieved to come through this one.
“I think I've done everything I needed to do today, under circumstances that weren't maybe as good for me as they were in the second round, and it was still enough to win. At this age and stage in my career, every day brings something new and unpredictable for me. I'm hoping that I will come out at my best in a few days' time.”
Novak Djokovic bidding to break Roger Federer's Wimbledon record
10:31 , Jamie BraidwoodLast time out, Novak Djokovic won his 105th Wimbledon match to equal Roger Federer’s men’s singles record and continue his bid for a 25th grand slam singles title.
The 39-year-old had to overcome an excellent performance from the big-serving 26th seed Arthur Rinderknech, winning 7-5 6-4 1-6 7-6 to reach the fourth round after being granted his wish to play during the day on Centre Court.
The seven-time champion then received a boost by learning that potential fourth-round foe Joao Fonseca, who defeated Djokovic at last month’s French Open, had been knocked out by qualifier Roman Safiullin.
