Ousted McCarthy says he won't run for US house speaker again

"I will not run for speaker again. I'll have the conference pick somebody else," McCarthy said Tuesday evening.

"I wouldn't change a thing."

McCarthy added that the country is too great for small visions of those eight Republicans who voted with Democrats to oust him from his post.
