RANAU: Unplanned and uncontrolled development in Kundasang and Ranau with more and more land, especially in the upper reaches being cleared for tourism or other development spells danger for the district’s World Heritage attractions.
“It could result in destruction and damage in the long run,” said Homestay Association Kundasang Chairman Azizul Julirin.
He said everyday one can see land on the upper mountain being cleared to make way for buildings and other business purposes.
