Over 28K pass nursing board exams

MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) early on Saturday announced that 28,652 out of 37,359 (76.69 percent) passed the Nurses Licensure Examination, held in August and September of this year.

Results were released six days after the exam’s final day except for 21 examinees "pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations,” the PRC said.

The top five passers are:

1. Dianne Tacazon Tolentino — University of Northern Philippines–Vigan (92.20 percent)

2. Clifford Jay Patoc Cafe — Ateneo de Davao University (92 percent)

3. Lee Chen Padilla Ducusin — Lorma College (91.80 percent)

4. Johanna Marie Macay Bagayao — Saint Louis University, Al-Radjie Pangadapun Laguindab — Liceo de Cagayan University, Sheena Reena Patayon Oco — Cebu Doctors University, Roi Christian Taguiwalo Pachica — Central Philippine University (91.60 percent)

5. Marc Adriel Pedregosa Danan — Bataan Peninsula State University–Main Campus, Therese Erika Albioso Gomez — Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod City, Jayson John Zacate Maminta — Lyceum Northwestern University–Dagupan City, Frances Cassandra Serrano Mariano — Saint Ferdinand College–Ilagan, Charles Edgar Robles Taeza — Far Eastern University–Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, Allanah Beatriz Mechachura Tubal — University of Saint La Salle, Maxine Angela Chua Yare — San Pedro College–Davao City (91.40 percent)

Seven passers placed sixth (91.20 percent), 10 passers clinched seventh place (91 percent), 14 passers finished eighth (90.80 percent), 19 passers finished ninth (90.60 percent), and 22 passers completed the top 10 (90.40 percent).

The Nursing Licensure Examinations were held on Aug. 29 and 30 and Sept. 11 and 12 and the results were released on Friday night, but only made public early Saturday.
