
SEMPORNA: Two foreigners were detained and over one kilogramme of substances believed to be syabu was seized during a Marine Police Force operation in Kampung Halo on Thursday.
Sabah Region Four Marine Police Force Commander ACP Mohd Nazri Ibrahim said the team raided a house following intelligence that it was being used by addicts and dealers.
He said the 6.40pm raid led to the arrest of two men, aged 46 and 58, along with the discovery of drugs estimated to be worth RM70,000.
The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
Mohd Nazri added that the Marine Police welcome public cooperation in reporting unlawful activities and remain committed to combating crimes, including smuggling, for the safety and wellbeing of the community.
