THE three-day National Cooperative Day 2023, hosted in Sabah for the first time from July 21 to 23, drew an overwhelming response from cooperative operators and members of the public.
The event, organised by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives through the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM) at the Sabah International Convention Centre, featured 200 cooperatives and entrepreneurs selling products and services to visitors at reasonable prices, thereby attracting the public’s interest in cultivating a cooperative society.
“The event is massive; we’ve only visited the outside booths and we’ve already bought so many things,” said Mas Light, who came with her mother and brother.
