Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao threw the ceremonial first pitch for the New York Yankees on Tuesday (Wednesday morning in Manila).
On the team’s X handle, Pacquiao was seen at the Yankees’ home opener against the Athletics, who are now based in West Sacramento, California.
“Thanks to boxing legend Manny Pacquiao for throwing out tonight’s ceremonial first pitch,” the team wrote.
During that game, the Yankees defeated the Athletics, 5-3.
“Back in New York!” Pacquiao wrote on his Instagram page on Thursday, accompanied by his experience at Yankee Stadium.
