Kota Kinabalu: Persatuan Sino KadazanDusun Murut Sabah welcomed the proposal to appoint Huguan Siou Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan as the next Head of State.
Its President Datuk Johnny Goh, said Pairin has excellent credibility to be appointed as the next of Head of State.
He said Pairin established a multi-racial party and became the then Chief Minister under Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).
“The Head of State is a symbol of unity and solidarity of the multi-racial and multi-religious people of Sabah. It is clear that Pairin has the credibility.
“As the association’s President, I have consulted the grassroots and they has no objection and hindrances, not only from Sino KadazanDusun Murut Sabah communities but also under the State Constitution for Pairin to hold the post,” Johnny said.
