PH begins early preparations for Melaka, Johor and Sarawak polls, considering whether to adopt the current Unity Government model with BN.
ALOR SETAR: Pakatan Harapan is expected to finalise its approach and strategy for the next state elections in Melaka, Johor and Sarawak.
PH secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the coalition’s election committee has been instructed to begin early preparations.
The PH Secretariat Council, which met last week, tasked the committee with formulating strategies for the upcoming polls.
“A key matter for consideration is whether the current Unity Government cooperation model will be adopted,” Saifuddin Nasution told reporters.
He was referring to the existing administration involving Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan.
All proposals and approaches will be compiled into a strategic paper currently being prepared.
Saifuddin Nasution said the paper is expected to be completed within one to two months.
He spoke after visiting the Kedah Regional Development Authority Business Facilities Centre project site.
Saifuddin Nasution also serves as the co-chairman of the Kedah State Development Action Council.
