MALACAÑANG on Friday announced the official list of National Holidays and special nonworking days for 2027.
Proclamation 1427 — signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sept. 8 — declares 10 regular holidays, four special nonworking days, four additional special nonworking days, and one special working day, including the following:

The proclamation stated that national holidays for Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha will be declared later based on the Islamic calendar or astronomical calculations.
It added that the extra nonworking days will give Filipinos more time for traditional family gatherings during All Saints’ Day, All Souls’ Day, and Christmas, while boosting local tourism.
