Man-of-the-match Cole Palmer was pleased after helping Manchester City win the UEFA Super Cup.
Palmer canceled out Sevilla's established by Youssef En-Nesyri before the game was taken to spotkicks. After the first nine penalties were converted Sevilla defender Nemanja Gudelj drilled his kick against the crossbar to give City victory.
The youngster later said: "Obviously losing on penalties [in the Community Shield] is never nice. To come here and win the Super Cup is lovely."
Asked if he is at his best, the midfielder added: "Not yet. It's early in the season. We just have to kick on from here."
