Panic gripped Sector 37 on Monday after a minor dispute allegedly escalated into a violent clash between two groups near the Volvo showroom in the area.
Members of both groups allegedly attacked each other with sticks and iron rods, triggering chaos on the road. The confrontation, which continued for several minutes, drew a large crowd of onlookers.
Videos of the incident, recorded by bystanders, were widely shared on social media and have since gone viral. Footage purportedly shows young men from both sides exchanging blows with sticks in full public view, apparently undeterred by the presence of passers-by.
Several people can be seen attempting to intervene, but the men involved appeared unwilling to back down.
The situation was brought under control after police arrived at the spot. Police officials said a few people sustained minor injuries in the incident. However, no formal complaint has yet been filed.
