
Brazil have another injury concern ahead of their World Cup last 16 match as playmaker Lucas Paquetá is nursing a thigh muscle injury.
The national federation CBF said on Tuesday that Paquetá would undergo intensive treatment on the injured left thigh in an effort to have him fit again for the next match on Saturday against Ivory Coast or Norway.
Paquetá was substituted at half-time of Monday's 2-1 comeback victory over Japan in the round of 32.
Yet to return is forward Raphinha who is also nursing a thigh muscle problem he sustained in the second group match against Haiti, making him miss the last two matches.
Record chtampions Brazil were also without veteran Neymar at the beginning of the tournament but he is fit again. He did however not feature against Japan.
