A one-year-old boy was found dead, believed to have been attacked by a pack of wild dogs in the Kampung Orang Asli area of Sungai Buloh.
According to China Press, the horrifying incident was only discovered when the boy’s parents returned home from work and found their son lying motionless on the ground, surrounded by dogs.

Sungai Buloh District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohammad Hafiz, said police received a report from Sungai Buloh Hospital at 8:40 AM on July 22 (Tuesday).
He stated that the hospital confirmed the boy was 1 year and 7 months old and had sustained multiple wounds and scratches on his head and body.
“The boy’s father claimed that he and his wife had searched the house but couldn’t find him. Eventually, they discovered their son lying on the ground just 20 metres away,” he said.

The baby was left under the uncle’s care at the time
Hafiz further revealed that the couple had allegedly left their son in the care of his uncle while they were at work.
Before the incident, the uncle and the child were reportedly sleeping in the living room. However, it is believed that the boy wandered out of the house while the uncle was still asleep.
Meanwhile, Berita Harian reported that the child’s body was sent to the Forensic Unit at Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
Hafiz added that the case is currently being investigated under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001 for neglect.
