LAHAD DATU: Cooperation from all parties including Parent Teacher Association (PTA) are important to improve the education system.
Segama Community Development Leader, Mizma Appehdullah, said the cooperation is not only in form of donation of funds but also ideas.
Mizma said PTA should also serve as a platform to further strengthen cooperation between schools and PTA to ensure the children get better education.
“Both parties need to help and complement each other so that every effort implemented by the government in improving the education system can achieve its goals,” she said.
Mizma said this at the launching ceremony of SMK Segama PTA meeting.
According to Mizma, every parent needs to get involved in their children’s education so they can identify their children’s weaknesses and find a solution together with the school.
She said parents should not put full responsibility on the school but get involved in their children’s education so they are not left behind in their studies.
“Children are the future of the country, they should have access to the best education so they can become quality human capital.
