
PAPAR: Benoni New Township is poised to be even more prosperous with the completion of Parklane City three-storey shoplots.
Developer WSG Group managing director Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen said the 24 units of three-storey shoplots fronting the main road Jalan Papar Spur at Parklane City has recently obtained occupancy certificate (OC).
She said the keys will be handed over to the owners after the Chinese New Year.
“In a few months’ time, Benoni New Township will be even more prosperous when the front row of shops open at Parklane City,” Susan said.
In fact, she said Senheng, 4Fingers Crispy Chicken and Caring Pharmacy are set to open at the three-storey shoplots facing Papar Spur Road.
“SenHeng and 4Fingers Crispy Chicken will start renovating their premises after the Lunar New Year,” she revealed at the 2023 Chinese New Year Lion Dance Tea Party at Benoni Show Gallery here on Friday.
In addition, Susan said the highly anticipated 10Star Cinemas is expected to commence operation in May this year, followed by the completion of McDonald’s drive-thru building in November this year and Servay Hypermarket in early 2024.
Meanwhile, Susan said the 64 two-storey shoplots under Phase 1 and 2 of Parklane City have reached 60 per cent completion.
“The double-storey shops are expected to be completed by July 2023, with only 16 units left available to date,” she added.
As for Parklane Villa double-storey terrace house, the first phase of 90 units will be completed in August and another 90 units next year.
The company is also expected to launch Parklane Condominium this year, which consists of four 19-storey towers with a total of 656 units.
The WSG Group was awarded “Best Developer for Township Development” for Benoni Commercial Centre and Parklane City projects in Papar by Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) in September 18 last year.
Separately, Susan sponsored nine lion heads, one dragon and one unicorn to nine troupes in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
The recipients are Kelab Tarian Naga dan Singa Yi Nan, Persatuan Kebudayaan Yang Yi KK, Papar Xu Xiang Dragon Unicorn and Lion Dance Club, Persatuan Penganut Dewa Tai Pak Kung Tenom Sabah, Sekolah Menengah Pei Tsin, Persatuan Penganut Agama Tian Huang Da Di, SJK(C) Chi Vun, Kawasan Rukun Tetangga,and Persatuan Tarian Singa dan Naga Yong Wei Sabah.
Also present were WSG Group directors Vanessa Wong, Melissa Wong and Jonathan Wong, and Wenessa Fung.
