Kota Kinabalu: The founder cum Vice President of Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (PKDM) Datuk Ronnie Loh announced his resignation from the party and relinquished the two posts.
“I lost confidence in the leadership of the PKDM.
“After discussion with supporters, I am happy to announce my support for the ruling State government of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah Sabah (GRS).
“I believe in the vision of the GRS-led State Government which has a clear direction for Sabah’s progress as stated in the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Development Plan which really gives priority to economic development and the well-being of the people,” he said in his statement on Sunday.
“For 38 years, I have been actively involved in community work, helping young people to get educational scholarships, helping with applications to seek permanent resident status in Sabah, and solving citizenship status problems faced by Sabahans especially in the interior, as well as problems related to late birth registration,” he said.
