MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila and the provinces of Rizal and Bulacan will have water service interruptions this week because of maintenance and improvement works, Manila Water and Maynilad said.
Manila Water said that some areas in Brgy. Matandang Balara and Brgy. Culiat in Quezon City will have no water on January 27-28 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities for leak detection.
Some places in Brgy. Matandang Balara, Quezon City will have service interruption on January 29-30 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to the replacement of a line meter.
In Mandaluyong City, several areas in Brgy. Mauway, Brgy Hulo, and Barangay Plainview will have water interruption on January 27-28 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. of needed line maintenance.
In Taguig City, some parts of New Lower Bicutan will not have water on January 28-29 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the replacement of a line meter.
In Marikina, some parts of Nangka and Brgy. Concepcion Uno in Marikina will have a water interruption on January 29-30 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities.
In Rizal, a portion of Brgy. Sta Cruz and Brgy. Mambugan in Antipolo will have no water on January 27-28 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to pipe system interconnection activities.
Maynilad meanwhile said that several villages in Santa Cruz and Tondo, Manila will have water interruptions on January 26-February 1 every 12:01 a.m. to 3 a.m. to detect possible leaks.
In Valenzuela, some areas in Brgy. Karuhatan, Brgy. Malinta, Brgy. Maysan, Brgy. Marulas, Brgy. Gen. T. De Leon and Brgy. Parada will have no water on January 26, 27 and 29 between 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. because of network maintenance activities.
Some areas in Brgy. Poblacion and Brgy. Tunasan in Muntinlupa City, and parts of Brgy. Almanza Dos in Las Piñas City will have no water on January 26-27 from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m., and again on January 27-28 from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. because of pipeline interconnection works.
In Quezon City, some areas in Brgy. Payatas will have service interruptions on January 26-27 between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of the interconnection mainline pipe systems.
Also, some parts of Brgy. 183 in Caloocan City will have no water on January 26-27 between 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. due to decommissioning activities.
In Bulacan, some parts of Brgy. Paco in Obando, and the villages of Arkong Bato, Balangkas, Bisig, Coloong, Dalandanan, Gen. T. De Leon, Isla, Karuhatan, Mabolo, Malanday, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, Palasan, Parada, Pariancillo Villa, Pasolo, Poblacion, Polo, Rincon, Tagalag, Viente Reales and Wawang Pulo in Valenzuela City will have water service interruptions on January 29-30 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance and system adjustments.
