
MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite and Rizal will have power interruptions this week due to maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday.
In Manila, some parts of Quiapo and San Miguel will have power interruptions on August 31 between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. because of the replacement of electricity facilities along J. Nepomuceno St. and N. Padilla St.
Some portions of Brgy. Ligid-Tipas in Taguig City will have no electricity on August 31 between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. because of the replacement and relocation of electricity facilities along Maestrang Pinang St.
Also, some areas in Maharlika Village, Lower Bicutan, and Upper Bicutan in Taguig City will have no power on September 1-2 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line reconstruction works along Maharlika Road.
In Makati City, some locations in Brgy. Palanan will have power interruptions on September 1 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. because of the installation of primary electricity facilities along Calatagan St.
Some sections of Brgy. Masambong in Quezon City will have no electricity on September 4-5 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line reconductoring work and replacement of an electricity pole along Malasimbo St.
In Bulacan, some places in the villages of Palimbang, Iba Este, and Iba Oeste in Calumpit will have no power on September 2 between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. due to line conversion works and the retirement of some electricity facilities along McArthur Highway and Iba Road.
In Cavite, some parts of Dasmariñas City will have power interruptions on September 2-3 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the relocation of some electricity poles affected by a road widening project along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway.
In Rizal, some areas of Tancino Subd., in Brgy. San Isidro, Taytay will have no electricity on September 2-3 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. due to the replacement of electricity facilities and line reconductoring work along Saturn St.
