MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila and Rizal will have water interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. said on Sunday.
Manila Water said that some locations in the villages of 768, 805, 806, 807 in Manila City will have service interruptions on September 1-2 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line maintenance work at Dagonoy cor. Opalo.
In Marikina City, some sections of the villages of Parang and Concepcion Uno will have water interruptions on September 1-2 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of zero pressure testing activities along Paraiso to detect leaks.
Some parts of Brgy. Concepcion Dos will have no water on September 2-3 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of zero pressure testing works at Gen. Ordonez cor. Lakandula.
Some areas in Brgy. Parang will again have water service interruptions on September 3-4 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to zero pressure testing activities.
In Quezon City, some places in Brgy. UP Campus will have service interruptions on September 1-2 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to zero pressure testing works at C.P Garcia cor. Manansala.
Several locations in the villages of Culiat, UP Village, Teachers Village East, Teachers Village West, Sikatuna Village, Central, Bahay Toro, and Socoro will have water interruptions on September 3-4 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of zero pressure testing activities.
Some portions of Brgy. Pasong Tamo will have water service interruptions on September 3-4 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the installation of a fire hydrant at Maple Wood, Philand.
Also, some parts of Brgy. San Martin De Porres, Quezon will have service interruptions on September 3-4 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to the replacement of a line meter in a water system along C. Benitez cor. Mayor Ignacio Santos Diaz.
In Rizal, some portions of Brgy. Mambugan, and some sections of Valley View Village, Valley View Phase 1, Valley View Phase 2, and Igorot Village in Antipolo will have water interruptions on September 1-2 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to zero pressure testing activities.
Some parts of Brgy. Sta. Ana, in Taytay will have service interruptions on September 1-2 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to interconnection activities at Ynares cor. C6.
Maynilad said that in Quezon City, several places in the villages of Manresa, Gulod, Sta. Monica, Apolonio Samson and Masambong will have service interruptions on August 31-September 1 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. due to pressure testing works.
Several areas in the villages of Bagbag, Greater Fairview, Greater Lagro, Gulod, San Bartolome, Sauyo, Sta. Lucia, and Talipapa in Quezon City; and some parts of Brgy. Ugong in Valenzuela City will have water service interruptions on September 3-4 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of network maintenance activities.
