A passenger fainted and fell onto the LRT tracks at Wangsa Maju station, causing brief delays on the Kelana Jaya line.
PETALING JAYA: A passenger believed to have fainted fell onto the tracks at the Wangsa Maju LRT station at about 6.52am today.
In a statement, RapidKL said its Platform Intrusion Emergency Stop (PIES) system was activated, temporarily cutting power to the track.
The incident caused a slight delay to services along the Kelana Jaya Line.
The passenger was taken to safety before being sent to the emergency department for initial treatment.
RapidKL advised passengers who feel unwell to immediately seek assistance from auxiliary police officers or station personnel.
