- A separate incident in November involved a Mercedes registered to Scholes driving at 49mph in a 30mph zone, resulting in a prosecution for failing to respond to police letters.
- Scholes was convicted in his absence during private Single Justice Procedure hearings after failing to enter pleas to either charge.
- Along with the ban, he was handed six penalty points and ordered to pay fines, costs, and victim surcharges totalling £1,472.
