The signed fight contract between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has hit the auction block, showing a guaranteed purse of just $2 million for each.
Official earnings for the bout, which drew 108 million viewers on Netflix in 2024, were never released. Still, it was widely believed that Paul took home $40 million and Tyson earned $20 million.
But Goldin Auctions now has a set of contracts signed by both fighters with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. According to those documents, each was paid $2 million by the event’s promoter.
While the 2024 Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight didn’t deliver much in the ring, it was a major event that drew a massive audience. Over 108 million people tuned in live, and more than 72,000 fans filled AT&T Stadium, generating an $18.1 million gate.

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson signed contract reveals $2 million guaranteed purse
Goldin Auctions has now opened bidding at $2,500 for a pair of official bout contracts signed by both Paul and Tyson. The auction house may be familiar to some for selling Logan Paul’s Pokémon card for over $16 million earlier this year.
The document states: “In consideration of the contestant participating in the above described contest, promoter promises to pay the contestant $2 million.”
There’s also a clause saying: “Guaranteed payment will be made to contestant immediately after each event in the presence of a Department Representative.”
It’s important to remember that official fighter purses don’t always tell the full story when it comes to how much money changes hands.
For example, Islam Makhachev was listed as earning just $150,000 for his lightweight title defence against Renato Moicano at UFC 311 last year, according to the California State Athletic Commission.
And while Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather reportedly made over $100 million and nearly triple that amount, respectively, from their fight in 2017, their disclosed purses with the Nevada State Athletic Commission were just $30 million and $100 million each.
The Goldin listing also notes that both contracts come with JSA Letters of Authenticity verifying the signatures.
