Deputy Agriculture Minister Arthur Kurup casts his vote early in Sook’s five-cornered contest during the 17th Sabah state election.

SOOK: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah president Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup was among the earliest candidates to vote in the 17th Sabah state election.

The Deputy Agriculture and Food Security Minister cast his ballot at Sekolah Pekan Ansip immediately after polling opened at 7.30 am.

Arthur is contesting the Sook seat under the Barisan Nasional banner.

He faces a five-cornered contest for the constituency, which has 20,349 registered voters.

Sook is one of three state seats within the Pensiangan parliamentary constituency. – Bernama
