Sabah heads to the polls today (29 November 2025) for its 17th state election, also known as PRN Sabah 2025.
Over 1.78 million eligible voters will decide who gets to lead the state for the next five years. A record-breaking 596 candidates from 24 political parties are contesting across 73 constituencies.

5:30pm: 🗳️ Polling has ended at all 882 voting centres, and the Election Commission has started counting the votes. Voter turnout was 60.94%, slightly lower than the 62.09% recorded in the 2020 state election.
