PBRS says BN-PH alliance best formula

Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) President Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup has expressed support for the proposed collaboration between Barisan Nasional (BN) Sabah and Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sabah in the upcoming 17th State Election.

“PBRS views this proposed cooperation as the best formula to maintain the Unity Government model, which has proven effective in ensuring national stability and prosperity,” he said in a statement, here, Thursday.

He said the BN-PH alliance has already demonstrated success at the federal level, with cooperation extending to other political parties as seen in the Nenggiri and Mahkota by-elections.

He said the party views positively the suggestion made by BN Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid who called for the extension of the BN-PH political cooperation to the upcoming Sabah Election.

He said that Malaysia is currently experiencing positive developmental momentum, evidenced by increasing investments and a strengthening Ringgit.

He also noted the recent victory of the Malaysian Government in the Dutch Supreme Court against the Sulu group’s claim, which has affirmed Sabah’s sovereignty within Malaysia.
