Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) expressed full support for Barisan Nasional (BN) going solo in the coming general election and this includes Sabah.
PBRS President Tan Sri Datuk Joseph Kurup said the announcement by BN Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was in line with the party’s memorandum to BN.
“PBRS believes any cooperation forged with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will only give advantage to Perikatan Nasional (PN).
“This is also based on 99 per cent mutual feedback from division leaders and grassroots supporters,” he said.
Kurup added PBRS stands firm to maintain the image of a people-centric BN, capable of offering stability as well as multicultural prosperity.
