Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) has received approval from the Registrar of Societies (ROS) for amendments to its party constitution, including a provision allowing all divisions to establish the Gerakan Belia dan Beliawanis (GBB).
PBS Secretary General Datuk Julita Majungki said the GBB would provide a structured platform for youths aged 18 to 25 to participate in healthy, constructive and responsible political activities.
She said the initiative would give young members opportunities to learn, contribute ideas, gain experience and understand PBS’ struggles and principles from the grassroots level.
Julita, delivering her welcoming address at the 41st PBS Annual Delegates Conference at Hakka Hall, Tanjung Lipat, here, Saturday, said the GBB implementation mechanism would be further refined by the new Supreme Council leadership.
She said the constitutional amendments reflected PBS’ efforts to strengthen its organisation and prepare a new generation of leaders while responding to the changing political and social landscape.
