KENINGAU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Bingkor urged the State Government to explain its plans for wanting to excise 46,000 hectares of the Keningau airport reserve land.
PBS Bingkor Head of Information, James Kini, said in addition to taking into account the many issues voiced by various NGOs, including the airstrip’s history and role for decades, the government should ensure not to invite negative perceptions from the public.
PBS strongly agrees if the reserve land is handed over to the Keningau District Council for the development of a satellite town to accommodate planned development towards making Keningau a city in the future.
